Bell TV is the first to launch the Remote PVR service in Canada.

Bell TV Remote PVR is a TV enhancement which provides Bell TV subscribers with the ability to schedule and manage their PVR recordings on any Internet connected PC, Mac or eligible smartphone.

Remote PVR will provide clients with the ability to:

	Set recordings from anywhere using a computer or eligible Smartphone.
	Browse and customize a comprehensive 9-day program guide.
	View images and trailers of favourite shows and movies.
	Quickly locate programs using a powerful and intuitive search feature.
	Create a detailed personal profile to help Remote PVR find the content clients are looking for.

By connecting their receivers to the Internet, clients will get all of the features above, plus the ability to:

	Set recording priorities and manage conflicts.
	Review all recordings on the PVR and delete selected recordings to make space.
	Review and edit details for upcoming recordings.
	Track PVR disk space.

Remote HDPVR Set-up Procedure:

To access Remote PVR, clients must:

Purchase an HD PVR (models 9242 or 9241).
Login to Bell TV Online with their existing My Bell account user name and password.
Access Remote PVR at Bell TV Online (tvonline.bell.ca):

This will allow access to the online interface.

Have an Internet connected computer and/or eligible smartphone.

There are two options to connect their receiver to the Internet:

Use and Ethernet cable if the receiver is relatively close to an Ethernet port.
If the receiver is far from an Ethernet port, they can purchase a Home connect kit available in Bell Retail Stores.

Basic functionalities of Remote PVR will be available to all 9242/9241 subscribers, however to experience enhanced Remote PVR functionality, clients must connect their receiver to the Internet. To do so, they must have the following:

	An Ethernet cable or Home Connect Kit
	Broadband Internet access, and
	A Router with an available port.

Q1: Can I use Bell Remote PVR with my non-PVR receiver connected to an external hard drive?

A1: No, Bell Remote PVR does not support non-PVR receivers only 9241/9242 are eligible.

A2: Remote PVR will work with the following browsers:

· Windows: Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3+ Macintosh
